The farm Las Flores begins in 1990 with a total area of 16 hectares, 3 hectares in coffee, located in the Department of Huila-Colombia, being between two large municipalities Pitalito and Acevedo Huila at a height of 1750 meters, our founders Edilberto Vergara and Nubia Ayure, with great effort and dedication decided to sow new lots every year. By 1996 our farm was completely covered in coffee and is owned as a high production farm in the region, for its area and the day-to-day management its founders performed.

Jhoan Vergara Ayure and Carlos Vergara Ayure, sons of Edilberto and Nubia, decide to venture into the coffee world, with a quality vision and more environmentally friendly, take physical and sensory coffee analysis courses and see an outlet in differentiated or high quality cafes.

Where the new generation has a responsibility to continue with the legacy, however, a new restructuring of the farm was evident.

In 2000 the farm Las Flores had excellent productions our founder Nubia Ayure decided to bet on quality and participated in cup excellence (Colombian competition that brings together the best coffees in Colombia) occupying the 32nd place nationally.

The process of renewing the caturra variety is initiated by new varieties that contributed in quality in cup and that was resistant to the fungus of rust, the vision was to have more sustainable and profitable productions it is decided to leave 2 hectares in nature reserve and sow new varieties.

After the death of Nubia Ayure our founder and main promoter of this transformation, more effort was made to the project, continuing with studies of more coffee varieties with their profiles, sought from each variety unique and exotic profiles were replicated in several batches thus achieving better quality.

In 2019 farm Las Flores  had the opportunity to compete in MASTER OF CAFE organized by a Colombo-Korean company called Amativo, being first in quality of coffee and toasted with the variety of pink bourbon the whole process was in charge of Jhoan and that is where the farm Las Flores shows the work of so many years , nationally  and  internationally recognized, thanks to this recognition obtained this variety of coffee from the estate las flores was carried out at the annual congress held in Seoul – North Korea and organized by this same company.
